Are You Ready? Preparing for Customer Meetings

When was the last time you met with one of your key customers to discuss your compliance performance? If you are like many companies, there is a good chance that meeting was the result of a problem and you were trying to resolve an issue and possibly even get some money back. How often do you meet with your key customers just to “check in” and strengthen your relationship? Over the years, I repeatedly see that companies who do a good job of managing deductions usually work at fostering the trading partner relationship and routinely talk with key customers.

During this Butler’s Best session, I will review the key elements of Customer Meetings. I will walk through different types of customer meetings, review several questions to consider when planning your meeting and share examples of different types of information you may want to have available to make your customer meetings as effective as possible.
